Yamaha is the worlds largest manufacturers of jet boats and they manufacturer their boats in 4 different lengths: 19 ft, 21 ft, 25 ft, and a 27 footer, and each length is available in a variety of models and options. Their 27 ft model is available in three different option plans, the E, SE, and SD, offering buyers a variety of luxury, style, wake and ski board storage capability, along with advanced technology with their new 12” “Connext” touchscreen that displays engine operating data along with radio control information.
Different color combinations are also available depending on the model, along with a hardtop on 2 of the 27 ft models. Lots of other amenities that are options on other boats come standard on Yamaha’s jet boats.
All of Yamaha’s 27 ft Jet boats are powered with twin 1.8 Liter, Super Vortex High Output engines and these engines are available in either naturally aspired, or supercharged and intercooled, versions producing up to a total of 500hp.
Yamaha’s “Shift Paddles” on the steering wheel column allows the operator to manually put the engines in forward or reverse while maintaining both hands on the steering wheel, an outstanding option while maneuvering in or out of a dock or other tight place, a unique Yamaha feature that also allows the operator to use the Shift Paddles at ordinary operating speeds all the while steering the boat.
Yamaha has always been known for their comfortable seat cushions and backrests, and the 27 is no exception with comfortable seating for 4 in the cockpit area and 6 more in bow seating depending on how close you want to sit to other passengers, and even more if all of the passengers are small. The only drawback to all this seating capacity is safety, so don’t forget to have enough life jackets for every passenger you may have on board.
