We had incredible weather for this year’s kickoff event in Belleville, Ontario! The sun was beaming and the water was calm for the boaters who roared up and down the waterways of Prince Edward County.

With this year’s Poker Run consisting of two classes, there was room for all types of boats to join in on the excitement. The two classes took different routes that included multiple lunch stops.

Performance Class:

1st Place: Jason Paris and his crew took home first prize in his 32′ Fountain with a Jack-high Straight.

2nd Place: Dave Turnbull in his 30′ Baja called “Hangtime” with two pairs, Queens and 4’s.

3rd Place: Kevin Maracle in his 29′ Baja called “Feeling Knotty” with a pair of Aces.

Best Engines: Sheldon Meere in his 38 Hustler “Slingshot”. (see photo below)

Best Dressed Crew: Kevin Maracle and his crew (see photo below)

Best Graphics: Brent Taylor in his 36′ Doug Wright Catamaran (see photo below)

Family Class: 

1st Place: James O’Rourke won in his 25-footer called “Make Noise” with a pair of Aces!

2nd Place: Nick Johnson in his 15′ Legend Angler with a King-high pair of 4’s.

3rd Place: David Fuller in his 25′ Mariah Z250 with a Jack-high pair of 4’s.

Honourable mention to our Card Girl Halo Meere.
