Canadian marine company Shockwave Seats has taken its first steps in entering the Swedish, Danish, and Finnish markets by partnering with Comstedt as its exclusive distributor in the region.
“We are excited to welcome Comstedt as the Shockwave distributor in Scandinavia,” said Shockwave Recreational Sales and Marketing Manager, Tanis Bradshaw.
“Comstedt is placing our recreational suspension bases within easy access of a boating community that has shown an increasing interest in the Shockwave product line.”
Shockwave Seats’ European representatives, Global Marine Associates (GMA), have spent over a year expanding the brand’s footprint across Europe, building a strong and reliable distribution network.
The new partnership with Comstedt further reinforces GMA and Shockwave’s mission, equipping them better than ever to deliver top-tier marine suspension seating to boaters worldwide.
“With Scandinavia being a significant target market for us, and with our Norwegian distributor, Inmatech already getting some positive results, the appointment of Comstedt gives us immediate access to their sales teams in each of the other Scandinavian countries and we are looking forward to what we anticipate will be some fast progress,” said GMA’s Martin Harding.

As of right now, Comstedt is displaying Shockwave’s recreational products in their stand at the “Allt för Sjön” boat show which is currently ongoing in Stockholm, March 13 – 16.
