Carver Yachts is continuing to chart a new course in the mid-size, luxury-yacht market with the introduction of its new C52 Coupe at the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. With its full beam master stateroom with private head and separate shower, spacious forward guest stateroom and head plus large third stateroom, the new C52 Coupe is raising the bar for luxury and cruising comfort.
With its plumb bow and distinctive raised sheerline, the C52 Coupe is uniquely designed to offer more interior space than virtually any yacht in its class. But more importantly, its hull, deck and superstructure combine vacuum-infused and hand-laid structural and non-structural, fiberglass and core laminates with infused vinylester resin for superior strength. And it’s all tied together with a fiberglass stringer system that’s engineered to shrug off even some of the harshest offshore seas.
Step on-board the new C52 Coupe and you’ll notice that its wide, walk around side decks are easily accessible from the cockpit, extra-large swim platform or the comfortable foredeck seating area. The large cockpit area has wrap-around seating and an optional wet bar with grill and refrigerator/ice maker for added convenience.
Walk through the flush-threshold, center-opening, glass, cockpit doors and the entire salon and cockpit become one large free-flowing entertainment space. Overhead, one of the largest full-length glass ceiling panels on a boat in its class, dim with the flip of a switch and eliminate the need for sunshades. A large sunroof adds to the large expansive glass roof. Combined with large salon windows the entire interior is bathed in natural light.
To port is a fully appointed galley that makes hors d’oeuvre or meal preparation a breeze. With stainless-steel sink and appliances, solid-surface counter tops and a large stand-up refrigerator to starboard next to the entertainment center, this galley offers real homelike features.
Forward of the galley and entertainment center is the Skylounge seating and dining area that affords 360 degree views and the comfort of luxurious fabrics, high-gloss cherry wood and warm accent lighting. Perfect for evening entertaining and relaxing with friends and family.
The lower helm, with its two-person, bench seat with flip-up bolsters, provides ample space for today’s most popular electronics, including up to two 17″ navigation displays. Plus, the location of the helm offers outstanding views forward and aft for ease of operation and docking.
A staircase to starboard from the salon provides private access to the spacious mid-ships master suite. This full beam layout is flooded in natural light and offers a plush queen-size island berth, separate lounge area and plenty of storage spaces. The luxurious master head features a separate stall shower with teak seating.
A few steps down and forward from the salon is a spacious guest stateroom with queen-size island berth and its own access to the port-side head. The guest head is virtually the size of most master heads on boats this size and features a separate shower with teak seating surfaces. The C52 Coupe also features a large, third stateroom with full, stand-up dressing area and twin berths.
To further the C52 Coupe’s sea-going credentials, optional crew quarters located aft of the engine room with head, shower and storage are available along with many other entertainment and convenience options to meet the owner’s personal preferences.
