Legend’s crafty 18 XTE Sport

Legend is making fishing a breeze with their new XTE.

This 18-foot XTE Sport is one of Legend’s finest fish boats. This model comes standard with a full walk-through, high profile curved windshield as well as a deluxe woodgrain finished dash. Chrome and back-lit gauges are also standard which makes for a beautiful ride. Two cushy, ergonomic swivel seats make up the front and a large convertible bench seat accommodates a few more passengers behind. Contoured backrests are integrated along the bow section for people to sit on the floor and lean comfortably against the sides.

This boat will have no problem handling all your fishing essentials with large, oversized storage in the front casting deck, port and starboard lockable rod boxes and another lockable in-floor rod box. A spacious 114-litre aerated live well is in the bow as well as an integrated bait bucket. The wide and slip resistant decks are covered in Ez-clean dura-deck vinyl flooring.

Some additional features available include a swim platform with fold down steps, a fish finder, and deluxe rod holders. Standard with this fishboat is seven-ply marine-grade plywood floor and decks as well as .100-gauge aluminum hull and bow rib construction. The XTE is also equipped with removable navigation and anchor lights. 

With a Mercury 115 HP Pro XS, this boat can travel close to 50 mph and handles very well. Stability is important for anglers trying to reel in ‘the big one’ and this boat certainly delivers. 

The XTE Sport is also pre-wired for 12/24 V electric trolling motors, holds 95 L of fuel and has an automatic bilge pump. An extra-large glove box and console are in front of the passenger seat as well as six cupholders around the boat. A Bluetooth stereo is also available for the music lovers which makes this boat good for just relaxing too. A full canvas bimini top can also be added for shade during the real sunny days on the water. A tilt steering wheel is also available to adjust the angle and there’s storage under the helm with USB and power outlets for charging your devices.
