All New X-series Makes a Statement with bells and whistles.

Boat Test #1687
For over 70 years Sylvan boats has been providing families and the boating industry with top quality products built by some of the best boat builders in the country. Not even this pandemic was going to stop the Sylvan tradition from staying true to their boat designing roots and delivering industry changing innovations.
Winners of countless industry awards for innovations and customer service, this Indiana based manufacturer has done it yet again with the introduction of the all-new Mirage X series.
Adding to the already popular Mirage series the X series will offer a unique layout that will include standard black rails, the SPX performance tri-tube package and an extended deck that is price point appealing to all buyers. The X series includes all the bells and whistles and everything that you would want and expect from your pontoon for a great day on the water.
Available in four (4) different models and size ranges, the X series offers fourteen different panel color and design options. Sylvan didn’t stop there as you can choose from six different floor colors, five different bimini colours and two upholstery colours.
One model that really sticks out to us is the Mirage X X5 CLZ.
Equipped with an all-aluminum transom, 25” pontoons and a center tube 60 gallon gas tank, the X5 was designed with performance in mind. The tubes have the performance shield and performance strakes that we have all come to love on the Sylvan pontoons. Equipped to handle up to a 300 HP outboard, the X5 should reach speeds near, if not just over 50 mph depending on the horsepower that you choose.
Sylvan has done a great job with the layout and design on the X5 pushing the entire interior forward giving you additional room to the rear for swimming or your favorite water sports. With the added room to the rear, access must be easy, and it certainly is with the center wide walk-through rear door.
Two plush seats adorn either side of the forward seating. Dual reclining captain’s chairs are located midship, one for the captain and one for the first mate. The rear also has seating on both the port and starboard sides of the boat.
I really like this layout as it creates two separate entertaining areas so if you are like me and have teenagers, they can sit in the rear seating with their friends and we can enjoy the company of our guests as well.
The standard black rails really add to the look and sleekness and sportiness of the boat. Sylvan has carried the black up into the bimini as well. Adding the painted black option on the tubes, the X5 stands out from the crowd and is an eye catcher at any marina.
Sylvan has truly made a statement with the addition of the X series to their lineup. If you are looking for a pontoon and want something bold and sexy, get to your local dealership now as these models and the X5 probably won’t even make it to the show room floors before they are all sold out for the year. We all know boats are at a shortage this year and it’s real serious.
