2022 Aquila 28 Molokai Power Catamaran

Aquila – 28 Molokai Power Catamaran is not only a fishing machine but is perfect for island hopping throughout Georgian Bay and the surrounding islands. Designed for large waters, this vessel can handle just about anything that you can throw at it.   

The Aquila helm is as clean looking as you can get with two large multifunction displays. The wheel is on the left side and the digital throttles are center of the layout. Push button lighted accessory switches add to the clean and stylish look. The Large windshield adds protection for the captain and co-pilot while large T-Top protects from the elements.

One thing that is really cool is that there is an additional drop-down floor that adds about 4” of height for line-of-sight clearance for when you are standing at the helm and backing the boat in. The captain’s leaning post is double wide and part of the rear facing prep station with a freshwater sink and baitwell combo that is all one fiberglass unit. Forward and inside of the helm is the large head with a swing-a-way door to provide easy in and out access.

The transom is home to two Mercury Verado outboards that are mounted on outwards. The center walk through provides easy access to the swim platform and the permanently mounted swim ladder. Countless rod holders decorate the rear transom outer wall. The inside walls have two distinctive flip up bolster seats on either side of the transom door that can easily be deployed with one hand.     

The forward seating in the bow is designed for spending time at the sandbar. The large two passenger seat is incorporated into the helm and the head door. The u-shaped seating outlines the bow of the boat and has two removable backrests to allow for forward facing seating while underway. The forward deck provides space for retrieving dock lines and acts as a casting platform when you are dropping lines. The deck has three large storage compartments that drain directly overboard.
