2022 Schaefer V33

Schaefer Yachts is South Americas largest yacht builder with more than 3,700 boats built over the last 29 years – ranging from 32 to 83 feet, and Schaefer employs 750 people in three factories in the south of Brazil.  In 2021 Schaefer introduced the V33 – the first model of their new V-Line. The all-new V33 can be best described as a modern walk-around with European influence and the versatility that North American boaters expect.

Various aft seating layouts are available, some converting to large sun pads. There is also a large pair of sun pads in the bow of the V33 with built in headrests. Other comforts feature a cabin that sleeps two and a head with full standing height that are part of the new design as well as options such a generator, a BBQ grill, A/C and many more. The high gunnels with a bolster all the way around provide a very safe feeling for the entire family while underway.

In the construction of their fiberglass hulls, Schaefer uses modern high-tech vacuum infusion technology as this process results in lighter more economical and stronger hulls, which in turn provides more comfort and safety for the ultimate purchaser.

The new Schaefer V33 is available with a variety of power options including single gas or diesel I/O inboard. The more popular power options although are twin Mercury from 4 Stroke 225s to Verado 400s, or Suzuki outboards from 250 to 350 hp. My personal choice for this 33 footer that weights 10,900 lbs would be either the Mercury or Suzuki 350 outboards as I believe this hull is better suited for outboard power than inboards, plus outboard power gives the boat a little more interior space below the waterline.
