Instead of 2 aluminum tubes, the 19 ft Hurricane FunDeck is a unique combination of the best attributes of a pontoon boat in the water and a deck boat up top, so you can choose your definition to suit your family’s needs as these boats are constructed of a unique combination of a fiberglass hull and aluminum framing topside. The time it takes to go from a standstill to on plane is quick as there is very little bow rise on pontoon boats. This 19-footer will seat up to 9 passengers which are uniquely suited for fishing with 2 removable bow swivel fishing chairs.

With its comfortable bolstered seating for 9 along with in deck and under seat storage for all of your goodies and the kids and dog toys, the Hurricane FunDeck is the ideal starter boat for any family, or just a couple wanting to entertain friends. From a utilitarian standpoint there is an abundance of deck space on this 19-footer, but you would need to opt for Hurricanes 23 ft model if you wanted to host a dance party onboard.

Weighing in at only 2045 lbs with engine (add +/- 1200 lbs for a trailer), the FunDeck is easily trailerable even with a small SUV as long as you were not planning a long cross-country trip. And financially, pontoon boats offer the best bang for your buck per foot as this 19-footer starts out at only $45,000+ for the basic model with a 100hp outboard. Options can bring the price to over $50,000, but that is still a bargain for a 19 ft boat. Other FunDeck models are available up to 23 ft, and they also have an 18 ft I/0 model if you prefer an inboard engine power plant.
