The Blackfin 212CC may be the smallest model in the company’s lineup of versatile center console boats, but that doesn’t mean it’s not as capable of adventure as its big brothers. Measuring 21-feet, 6-inches from bow to stern, this trailerable center console is designed to be a hardcore fishing machine with enough amenities to keep the family happy.
The wrap around bow seating with its adjustable bolsters that convert into forward facing loungers is a comfortable spot to relax, but remove the cushions and you’ll find two large hatches providing access to the wraparound fish boxes below.
The helm station is definitely fishing first. The leaning post is equipped with flip-down bolsters and the center console has molded footrests for stability when running in rough water. A cooler is stowed below the seat. Buyers can opt for either a bimini top for sun protection, or go for the full hardtop system that includes rocket launchers, an integrated electronics box and a bow shade.
The base boat is configured with a single, 12” multifunction display, but it can be ordered with a second display for added functionality. Families will appreciate the enclosed head compartment under the helm. The cock-pit is spacious for a 21-foot boat. Gunnels are outfitted with two vertical rod holders and additional storage.
A bench seat spans the aft of the boat, save for the open space to starboard where the tuna door allows your catch to be hauled aboard. To port is the livewell, with a drain, intake and overflow that are completely adjustable for optimal water flow. The lid seals with a rubber gasket, allowing the livewell to be pressurized when you’re in rough water.
The base Blackfin 212CC is equipped with a single 200-horsepower outboard, but for maximum performance, the boat can be optioned with a 300-horsepower engine.
