Five Incredible Yachts for five nights of pleasant boating dreams.

Ferretti Yachts 920
Introduced at the Cannes Boat Show in 2017 for the first time, Ferretti Yachts’ 920 is an example of all of the time invested into development over the past few years into its future. The 920’s presents as a relatively classic design complete with a conventional hull devoid of the plumb bow that seems popular now, yet with a layout that clearly indicates the desire for space. The entertaining-inspired foredeck is massive – almost a quarter of her length – second only to the flybridge that appears to have earned nearly half her length. Most unique is the tender garage that can be flooded for easy entry and exit of the day boat.
Inside the cabin the luxurious treatments abound. The one-piece huge front window offers an incredible and uninterrupted view, complimented by side and aft glass that wraps around you. Imagine yourself dreaming in the full-beam master stateroom with through-hull windows that offer a great view without getting you even getting out of bed! The attached full-beam master bathroom trimmed in marble is a must see. Choose from a three or four stateroom layout with five bathrooms – 2 in the crew quarters.
Powered by twin 16V 2000 M96 MTU engines, the 920 should have a top end of 30 knots and cruise nicely at around 26 knots.

Riva 90 Argo
The all-new Riva 90 Argo is the latest edition to their flybridge model line, unveiled in the US this past March 2019 to rave reviews. A Riva is more than a superyacht, it’s more than a boat. You don’t say you have a boat or a yacht – you say you have a Riva – just the same way as you’d perhaps say “I have a Rolls”.
It’s tough to honour the history of a brand when rolling out an all new forward looking model, but Riva managed to do just that in style. In these 90 feet of crisp lines, gleaming chrome and beautiful woods you’ll find four staterooms: a full-beam, master suite featuring large windows and a unique sunken bathroom, a second full-beam guest suite one level down with a king-size bed and private bathroom, a second guest stateroom with double bed and it’s own bathroom, and a third guest cabin with convertible beds and a bathroom.
Entertaining is easy, so is relaxing. The sunken foredeck sun lounge almost feels like it was built around the two chromed windlasses showcased like a prized work of art. The twin facing lounges of the aft deck bracket a large table under the flybridge overhang. One level above the flybridge features a full beam sunbathing area aft and almost enough lounging space forward to get all of your guests together as you cruise at around 22 knots on your way to your next port of desire or adventure.

Hinckley Yachts Talaria 55
Best known perhaps for their iconic “picnic boat”, Hinckley Yachts also makes a line of motor yachts and the Talaria 55 is the flagship of that line. Classic and timeless Maine styling (you can instantly spot a Hinckley from a mile a away) combine with epoxy-infused carbon fiber and Kevlar™, beautifully finished warm teak, luxurious upholstery and gleaming chrome to create what might seem more like a museum piece.
Available as a motor yacht (MKII) with a single level cockpit and aft deck with lower level accommodations deck, or as an optional flybridge model (FB), the Talaria 55 is one of the pinnacles of American yacht design.
Step aboard the full length swim platform and into the aft deck – you’ll immediately find a large outdoor entertaining area. An enclosure between the cockpit and salon bathed in gleaming varnished wood offers either open air, single level entertaining or a protected, secure, and temperature-controlled interior when the weather turns or the bugs come out. The twin high back captain’s chairs at the fully equipped helm speak to the adventurous intent of this vessel.
Down below you’ll find a two stateroom layout with two separate heads and a well-equipped galley.
Powered by Twin Caterpillar C-18 1000hp diesels you’ll find the Talaria 55 cruises at 34 knots with a top speed of 39 knots.

Fountaine Pajot MY37
Introduced to replace her predecessor, the very successful Highland 35, Fountaine Pajot’s all new 37 foot power catamaran manages to accomplish the seemingly impossible: the space and stability of a 40-plus something motor yacht in a 37 foot catamaran package. It’s aimed at two primary markets: the entry level catamaran owner, and the charter industry.
For the individual owner, they would most likely choose the Maestro or three stateroom layout which features two separate cabins in the starboard hull separated by a full head with shower, and an owners cabin with private head in the port hull. The Quatuor or four stateroom layout with the port and starboard hulls being identical in layout is designed for the charter market.
Up on the main deck, you’ll find a full beam aft deck with outside seating, and once you step through the cabin door, the galley is to port with a large u-shaped dinette to starboard. The optional lower helm and a double bench seat is forward of the port and starboard entryways to below, replacing the standard second couch seating area.
The generous flybridge features twin captain’s chairs at the fully equipped helm to starboard, and a dedicated sunpad to port with an l-shaped dinette/sofa aft, all under a hardtop.
Overall, this all-new motor yacht / trawler catamaran feels like you’ve stepped into a luxurious condo with its’ fine finishes and panoramic views that both cater to the live-aboard lifestyle.
