The Cobrey 28 SC must be one of the nicest pocket cruisers that I have seen in a long time. The lines and styling of the 28 SC make this boat look a lot larger than it is, while the engineering and layout is functional and a great use of space. Add in the performance of this single screw vessel and you have a boat that looks, feels, and handles like its larger family members.

As you step onto the large swim platform that is covered with teak wood you can’t but help notice the open cockpit. The aft swim platform is plush and has a dual bolster back that allows for forward and aft seating. 

As you enter the cockpit using the starboard walkway, the galley is immediately to the right with the optional refrigerator and molded in sink. Forward the sink is a small bench seat and then the helm station. The port side has a stretched out plush bench seat that runs the length of the portside gunwale.

The design of the hard top is unique as it has multiple skylights. The windshield wraps almost completely around the entire cockpit. Forward of the walk-through windshield is a two-person sun lounger. The high stainless-steel bow rails provide an added element of safety when you are on the bow.  

As you continue forward and walk down the steps to the cabin you can’t but help notice the attention to detail and the Euro styling of the cabin. From the dark chocolate floors to the two-tone beige upholstery, this boat screams luxury. 

The V-berth forward has a large table that drops down and converts into a secondary sleeping quarter. The master to the aft is spacious and has large windows on either side to add natural light.  There is also a small seat and a large ledge to place your weekend bags on.  

The galley to the portside of the cabin has a stainless-steel sink, refrigerator and two burner electric stove. The one area that separates this boat from others in this category is the head. The head has a full-length separate shower. The glass bowl sink, euro styling faucet and large white countertop add to the functionality.    

Overall, the Cobrey 28 SC is very impressive with its styling, functionality, and attention to detail. Equipped with a single 240 HP sterndrive (option up to 350 HP) and a top end speed around 70 kmph, this pocket cruiser is going to make a splash at any marina that you pull into or out on the water.
