Boat Test #1675
Great for big water but not too big for smaller lakes, the FM1775 WT Deep-V fishing machine has fierce fishability. At 17’ 9” long, 86” wide, and a max 115hp Mercury outboard, the FM1775 bridges the gap between the FM1675 and the larger FM1800.
For 2021 they made a windshield walkway wider to let you easily move about between bow and stern to cast, play fish, and access the two huge livewells—an aerated 14 gallon live well in the bow and a second aerated 19-gallon livewell in the stern. Also, it has an abundant storage throughout including a side storage compartment, a roomy center rod locker including trolling motor and we noticed a battery storage in the rod locker, and an optional cargo net in the bow. This year’s rear deck conversion bench was redesigned and they added a much more versatile adjustable gunnel cleat system so you can put your cleats right where you need ‘em.
This boat has many of the same popular options along with a Ski-pylon and swim platform that lets watersport enthusiasts do what they love best… the 1775 Walk-thru continues its tradition of redefining what a great fishing rig should be.
Most say they have it, some even say they invented it, but really Lowe has been perfecting these do it all fishing tools for over 50 years, with thousands of anglers fishing every species. The 1775 includes more deck space, faster hole shots, more stability and a smoother and drier ride with all the pro-level fishing features and warranty you demand. The Superwide™ performance hull bottoms reduce roll and pitch for a much more comfortable ride. A lot of boat builder’s cut cost by decreasing their boats bottom width but Lowe employs extra-wide hull bottoms for more useable space in the boat and greater stability.
Located in the heart of the Ozark’s, where old world and hand work craftmanship is renowned. The boats are assembled entirely by hand using strictly controlled CAD designed specifications. The result is their exclusive SuperLock™ construction which ensures that hulls, bulkheads, stringers, ribs, decks, transoms and gunnels are all ‘locked together’ in a true bonded system.
