Steeler Yachts has launched their new NG36 S-line, having introduced the largest S-line, the NG57 S, last month. In terms of dimensions it is the most compact Steeler yet with a length of 11.00m, a width of 3.50m and a clearance of 2.50m, but the NG36 S is big when it comes to comfort and styling. The cockpit has a gloss varnished lounger that can be converted instantly into a sunbed, whilst the L-settee in the lounge has an internal springs system, which finally makes a settee on a boat as comfortable as the one at home.
The layout of this S-line provides for two double cabins, a separate shower and toilet area and a spacious galley.
S-line models are characterized by their patented ‘Steep High-flared Bow’, a steep bow with a high flare and a spray rail well above the water line. This bow shape offers many benefits, including greater hull speed because of a longer water line, reduced fuel consumption because of the sharp cutting angle, absence of the characteristic bow wave (and spray) for steel displacement yachts and of course a lot more internal space, which means that this 36 footer has an interior layout that compares well with larger yachts. It is aesthetically beautiful in combination with the tumble-home stern and the graceful lines produced by Martin Bekebrede.
Hans Webbink, owner of Steeler Yachts commented: “The S-line models refer to Style, Space, Speed, Silence, Safety and Seaworthiness. We continue to innovate and improve at all fronts to achieve our objective – to build superior motor yachts for demanding clients who accept nothing but the best. At the moment we have S-line models of 17 and 11 metres on the water, but the NG41S, NG50S and NG52S Offshore have been sold and are under construction. Proof that we are on the right track. We are exhibiting the NG57 S-line and NG36 S-line at the Hiswa te Water in Amsterdam, stand number A28, and naturally we are interested in the response”.
Summary of the specifications of the Steeler NG36 S-line, construction number 1:
The NG36 S-line has a multi hard chined underwater hull and is driven by a Yanmar 160pk low-rev diesel motor (standard motor is Yanmar 110 Pk) . Preservation and varnishing is supervised by an independent surveyor who applies top-segment standards for evenness and polish levels. The client requested for the interior to be of oak. As with all Steelers, double glazing, furnishing of your choice (including in the cockpit), Corian tops, LED lighting with dimmer switches and an individual CE certificate are part of the standard equipment.
