Celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2018, Sea-Doo continues to innovate and their all new introductions for the coming year are no exception.
The 2018 GTX model falls into their Luxury line (along with the GTX Limited) and features the all new ST³ hull that is both stable and predictable both at rest (while lounging or someone is reboarding) or at speed. The hull also features the largest swim platform in the industry and a truly unique feature that Sea-Doo is calling the LinQ.
The LinQ is an exclusive quick-attach rear cargo system that allows for modular custom-ization with a variety of accessories including a cooler, a fuel can, a gear bag, and more on the massive aft deck.
The modular ergo-lock seat is narrower so your knees are closer together, and features a stepped design for up to three riders. Plus, the rear portion can be removed for more sunbathing space, or moved back to sit face-to-face over the cooler and a picnic lunch. Up front you`ll find, a watertight phone box (a Bluetooth audio system is optional) and the industry`s only direct access front storage accessed by simply lifting the handle bars – no standing necessary.
Performance wise, you`ll choose between two engine options: the naturally aspirated Rotax 1503 4-Tec or the Rotax 1500 HO ACE™ both offer a 1,494 cc inline three cylinder dis-placement engine with four valves per cylinder and come with closed-loop cooling (CLCS). You`ll find convenience features like cruise control and slow mode, plus iTC (Intelligent Throttle Control) with 3 riding modes: Touring, Sport and ECO; Electronic brake and reverse (iBR®) and an iControl Learning key with an anti-theft security system.
