This performance machine handles like a German sports car on the Autobahn.
By Captian Christopher Kourtakis
Sleek, stylish, sexy, and with a top speed of over 45+ MPH with a 200 HP outboard of your choice, the Starcraft SVX210 checks all the boxes and will meet everyone’s needs in the family. The quick hole shot under 6 seconds, the way the chimes on the hull carve the waves, this performance machine handles like a German sports car on the autobahn. There is zero hesitation in trying to get a skier out of the water or running home to dock after a great day on the water. The 0-30 mph time under 7 seconds, the SVX210 gets up and goes.
Starcraft engineers have utilized every inch of space in the boat’s cockpit. The deck boat layout gives you ample forward seating and room in the aft of the boat.
The helm seat has a built-in flip-up bolster so you can have visibility and comfort while towing a skier. The tilt wheel provides plenty of access to and from the seat and allows you to comfortably stand up and drive if needed. The captain’s chair is sporty and offers easy access in and out from behind the wheel as required. The wrap-around windshield protects from the elements as needed and is easy to open to access the boat’s bow.
The dash layout is functional and easy to see. All the chrome-trimmed gauges are directly in front of the wheel and are angled perfectly to prevent glare. Immediately to the right are all the lighted rocker switches for accessories such as your navigational lights, bilge pump, and more. The standard JL Audio radio remote with Bluetooth connectivity for the four-speaker stereo system is directly above the switches. To the left of the wheel, you have room to flush mount the optional Simrad GPS and multifunction display and other accessories as desired. The port side console has a molded-in freshwater sink, glove box, and two stainless steel cup holders. The chair is identical to the helm chair for added comfort.
There is plenty of room to prepare for your watersports activities or if you are at the sandbar. The extended swim platform is massive and lined with a Traction Mat material that is soft to the touch. The boarding ladder is to the starboard side, folds out, and then telescope four steps out from under the fiberglass cover. Add the optional ski tow pylon, and you are ready for all watersport activities.
Storage is abundant under each seat and on the floor and is perfect for your wakeboard, safety gear, and snacks you brought out for the day. You can also opt for the fish package with a live well and two pedestal seats mounted on the forward and aft platforms.
The boat’s bow has plush seating, and the high gunnel provides comfort and security while underway. The stainless-steel grab rails adorn either side of the bow and are perfect for holding on as needed. Just forward of the bow would be an additional swim latter and boarding platform if you wanted to beach the boat or needed access to the dock from the front of the boat.
The L-shaped seating configuration on the boat’s port side is high-backed and plush. The cognac color scheme makes this boat pop.
The walkway to the swim platform on the starboard side is easy to use, and the molded-in stairs are perfectly integrated into the design and do not look like an afterthought. The stainless steel bimini is easy to deploy if you are looking for a bit of shade from time to time.
With a 102-inch beam and only weighing 2,685 lbs (dry weight), this boat is perfect for trailering to and from the lake without having to tow it with a large vehicle.
Don’t worry; the 45-gallon fuel tank will ensure you spend more time on the water than at the gas pump.
The rich history of Starcraft boats provides you with the confidence of top-quality parts and boat builders who take pride in what they do. This can be seen through each boat that comes down their line and is delivered to their dealerships. The SVX210 is no different. This boat will make everyone on the lake envious of the quality, the styling, and what you paid for the boat. Look no further as you have found the perfect deck boat for your family for years to come.
